In 2001, Careercruise was born out of the insight and vision of its promoter, Anjali Misra. Having lead the HR function at GE Capital, the pioneer of the BPO industry in India, Anjali realized that while the outsourcing industry in India had its roots in servicing overseas clients; it would not take long for the MNCs based in India and large Indian corporations, to want to leverage its benefits.
To leverage her domain expertise, Anjali homed into HRO – a thought well ahead of its time. A simple Business plan lead to the establishment of Careercruise, a name today synonymous with HRO in India. A small office was set up in a residential block and a team of 3 got about the task of “concept-selling”.
The first large break came from American Express. Then in its initial stage of establishing its BPO in India, Careercruise was brought in to manage their HR processes. One business led to another and soon Careercruise established itself as a preferred HR service partner for many MNCs based in India.
The break through amongst large Indian corporations came in 2003, from HLL. Under immense pressure to perform and growth plans, HLL outsourced various HR processes to Careercruise. Eventually, Careercruise became their Shared Services model – servicing multiple SBU/locations. This successful initiative demonstrated the significance of the model; other Indian corporations followed with equal success.
In keeping with the evolving market trends and our vision for the future, in 2007, Careercruise re-invented itself to become a full fledged HRO. We now offer end-to-end HR outsourcing solutions. These include managing any single or multiple HR process, HR shared service or complete HR Management. We also offer employee management services directed at creating a well integrated and engaged work force.
